On Friday, 31 July 2026, Agence Côte d’Ivoire Export hosted the 13th session of Les Vendredis de l’Export, a capacity-building workshop focused on the theme: “Sustainable packaging: a key driver of competitiveness and access to international markets.”
The session saw strong engagement from Ivorian businesses, reflecting the growing interest among economic actors in competitiveness, innovation, and access to global markets.
Facilitated by Mr Charles Désiré BOETE, Head of Operational Transit Division at AGL, and Mr Abdoulaye DIOP, Commercial Executive at SIPACK, the session shed light on evolving market requirements regarding sustainable packaging, changing consumer expectations, and the opportunities offered by high-performance packaging to enhance product value and facilitate export market access.
Discussions highlighted the strategic role of packaging as a powerful tool for differentiation, regulatory compliance, brand enhancement, and commercial growth. Through shared experiences, practical guidance, and interactive exchanges with participants, the event enabled businesses to gain a clearer understanding of the challenges involved in transitioning toward more sustainable and competitive packaging solutions.
Beyond the technical presentations, this 13th edition served as a valuable platform for dialogue, knowledge-sharing, and networking between experts and business leaders, opening up new perspectives for the expansion of Ivorian exports.
Once again, through Les Vendredis de l’Export, Agence Côte d’Ivoire Export fulfils its mission to strengthen the capabilities of Ivorian companies by providing access to high-level expertise, strategic market intelligence, and tailored tools to boost their competitiveness, meet international market standards, and achieve sustainable export success.
