On this 12th of August 2026, at its headquarters, Agence Côte d’Ivoire Export signed a partnership agreement with the Ivorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Belgium and the European Union (CICIBE) to facilitate access to the European market for Ivorian products and services.

Agence Côte d’Ivoire Export, a national organisation, works to promote Ivorian products and services internationally and assists local businesses with their export endeavours.

For its part, the CICIBE, an actor committed to economic development, international cooperation, and enhancing Côte d’Ivoire’s profile in Europe, serves as an interface between Côte d’Ivoire and the European Union, particularly for the entrepreneurial and economic initiatives of the Ivorian diaspora in Europe.

This complementarity forms the foundation of this new partnership, which aims to create further bridges between Ivorian enterprises and the opportunities offered by European markets.

This partnership, beneficial to Ivorian businesses, will help enhance the opportunities available to them in developing their export activities, notably through: building connections with European buyers, distributors, and economic partners; building business capacity, particularly regarding European market standards, requirements, and regulations; providing access to economic and institutional networks in Europe; enabling participation in showrooms, trade fairs, exhibitions, and commercial events to boost the visibility of Ivorian products and services; and sharing information on market trends and opportunities to help businesses better identify and capitalise on international prospects.

Signed in the presence of Dr Kaladji FADIGA, Director General of Agence Côte d’Ivoire Export, and Mr Maxime Abdou ISIAKA, President of the CICIBE, this partnership also provides for joint initiatives to promote Ivorian goods and showcase the “Made in Côte d’Ivoire” label, in order to enhance its attractiveness and recognition among European buyers and partners.

This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to turning cooperation opportunities between Côte d’Ivoire and Europe into concrete commercial opportunities for Ivorian businesses.

Through this partnership, Agence Côte d’Ivoire Export continues its mission to connect Ivorian enterprises to international markets and strengthen the presence of “Made in Côte d’Ivoire” on the global stage
