On Tuesday 15 and Wednesday 16 September 2026, in Dakar, Senegal, Ivory Coast took part in the discussions organised by the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE), an essential step in preparing for its participation in Expo 2027 Belgrade.
Responsible for organising Ivorian participation in International Commercial Events, Agence Côte d’Ivoire Export attended these exchanges to gather the necessary guidelines and information required to organise Ivory Coast’s involvement in Expo 2027 Belgrade.
The Ivorian delegation comprised representatives from Agence Côte d’Ivoire Export, including Mr Marc Mobio LOBA, Technical Adviser to the Director General of Agence Côte d’Ivoire Export and focal point for organising Ivorian participation in Belgrade 2027, and Ms Fleure TRA, in charge of Communication and Public Relations. It also included Mr André KOUASSI, Director of Agricultural Professional Organisations and Commissioner General of SARA, and Mr Jean-Noël KOUAMÉ, Social Media Manager, representing the Ministry of Agriculture.
Scheduled to run from 15 May to 15 August 2027, Expo 2027 Belgrade is a specialised exposition that will bring participating countries together around the theme “Play for Humanity: Sport and Culture for All”, highlighting sport, music, innovation, and new forms of cooperation.
These two days of discussions represent an important phase in preparing Ivory Coast’s participation and demonstrate the commitment of Agence Côte d’Ivoire Export to designing and organising an Ivorian presence that meets the high stakes of this international event.
