As part of the “Market & Mobility” initiative, organized in Abidjan from December 8 to 13, 2025, by Enabel, the Agence Côte d’Ivoire Export welcomed a delegation of economic agencies and entrepreneurs from Guinea Conakry and Senegal on Monday, December 8, 2025.
This pilot economic mission aims to promote African entrepreneurial mobility and encourage the creation of sustainable South-South business partnerships by bringing together Guinean, Senegalese, and Ivorian SMEs.
The main objective of the working session was to strengthen inter-agency cooperation, promote mutual understanding of mandates and service offerings, and identify concrete avenues for collaboration in support of SME development and regional trade.
Discussions also focused on export requirements in Côte d’Ivoire, international trade standards and procedures, and the strategic role of SMEs in national and regional competitiveness.
A shared ambition: to strengthen regional economic integration.
Through this initiative, Enabel and its partners aim to contribute to greater economic integration in West Africa by facilitating the movement of skills, access to commercial information, and the structuring of exchanges between entrepreneurs in the subregion.
Several outcomes are expected from the meeting, including :
- clear guidance on administrative, logistical, and customs procedures;
- the identification of business and partnership opportunities for participating SMEs;
- operational recommendations to optimize entrepreneurial mobility and competitiveness.
Through its active participation in this initiative, the Côte d’Ivoire Export Agency reaffirms its commitment to the development of regional and international trade and the promotion of an environment conducive to the growth of African SMEs.
