The Agence Côte d’Ivoire Export, represented by its Chief Executive Officer, Dr Kaladji FADIGA, took part in the second meeting of the Technical Committee of the National Committee for the African Continental Free Trade Area (NC-ZLECAf), held at the Tiama Hotel on Monday 11 March 2024. The meeting was chaired by the Minister of Trade and Industry, Dr Souleymane Diarrassouba, represented by Dr Kalilou SYLLA, Director General of Foreign Trade. This meeting provided an opportunity to present a comprehensive report on the actions undertaken by the CN-ZLECAf in 2023.

The main objective of this meeting was to present the 2024 Action Plan, taking into account new perspectives and strategies. It should be noted that this action plan, unveiled at the meeting, is built around various awareness-raising and negotiation activities specifically designed to involve and inform all stakeholders. These initiatives aim to strengthen understanding of the Agreement among Ivorian society, businesses and economic players, with a view to effective implementation of the Agreement in Côte d’Ivoire.
