The African talent on the international scene (T.A.I) scheme is an innovative support mechanism for international trade, youth employment and the regional development of companies in the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU).

Allowances and other benefits

The status of volunteer means that young T.A.I.s receive a tax-free allowance for the duration of their assignment. The amount of this allowance depends on the host country. To this should be added the cost of the T.A.I.’s travel and social security cover
