The agency Côte d’Ivoire Export, through its Directorate of Economic Intelligence and Foresight, participated in the 17th Forum of Economic and Strategic Intelligence (IES) held on 20 and 21 November 2024 in Strasbourg (France) and which brought together many experts in the field around the theme: Strategic intelligence for sovereignty and competitiveness.
Based on more than 30 years of shared experiences and collaborations, the forum took stock of the main developments in the business and tools of Economic and Strategic Intelligence, and has established a forward-looking vision of the main trends and major issues for the coming decades.
In terms of results, the 17th IES forum enabled the Agency to strengthen its capacity for collecting, processing and analysing strategic business information on international markets; to draw on good practices from major groups such as Airbus, Safran, Dassault Aviation or Thalès, in terms of strategic intelligence; and finally to establish contacts with companies specialized in the collection and processing of information for the operationalization of its Directorate in charge of Commercial Information, Economic intelligence and foresight. In conclusion, the participation of the Côte d’Ivoire Export Agency at the 17th Economic and Strategic Intelligence Forum marked a key step in strengthening its capabilities in strategic intelligence. By capitalizing on the lessons learned from exchanges with international industry leaders and experts, the Agency is positioned as a reference player in terms of monitoring and forecasting to support the competitiveness of Ivorian exporting companies.
