AGENCE CÔTE D’IVOIRE EXPORT  PARTICIPATES IN THE REVIEW OF UEMOA COMMUNITY PROJECTS IN CÔTE D’IVOIRE

On Monday 29 and Tuesday 30 June 2026, Agence Côte d’Ivoire Export took part in a workshop in Jacqueville to review the portfolio of community programmes and projects funded by the Commission of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA) in Côte d’Ivoire.

Organised by the Representation Office of the UEMOA Commission in Côte d’Ivoire (BRCIV), this meeting brought together the main public administrations and technical bodies involved in implementing community projects, under the coordination of the Directorate of Regional Economic Affairs (DAFER).

Agence Côte d’Ivoire Export was represented by Dr Hugues AMICHIA, Focal Point for the African Talents International (Talents Africains à l’International – T.A.I.) programme in Côte d’Ivoire.

The proceedings provided an opportunity to examine the progress of nine strategic community projects funded by the UEMOA Commission, identify the challenges encountered in their implementation, and formulate recommendations aimed at improving their effectiveness and impact.

Regarding the African Talents International (T.A.I.) programme, the workshop served as a valuable platform for dialogue to assess the system’s performance and propose improvement strategies aimed at strengthening skills mobility, talent development, and regional cooperation.

Through this participation,  Agence Côte d’Ivoire Export reaffirms its commitment to contributing to the success of community initiatives that promote economic integration, capacity building, and human capital development within the UEMOA region.
