ZLECAF: THE CÔTE D’IVOIRE EXPORT AGENCY AT THE HEART OF PLANNING FOR 2026

As part of the implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area (ZLECAF), the Côte d’Ivoire Export Agency is participating in the ZLECAf 2026 Implementation Activities Planning Workshop of the ZLECAF National Committee (CN-ZLECAf), held from December 10 to 12, 2025, in Assinie.

A strategic framework to strengthen the impact of the AfCFTA in Côte d’Ivoire

In order to translate the guidelines of the National Strategy for the Implementation of the AfCFTA, adopted in 2019, into high-impact actions, the CN-ZLECAf has adopted a new approach focused on better prioritization of targets, sectors, and geographical areas.

It is in this context that this workshop is being organized, bringing together members of the CN-ZLECAf Executive Secretariat, the Technical Committee, and SME/SMI umbrella organizations to take stock of the actions carried out in 2025 and define a more incisive action plan for 2026.

Objectives and challenges of the workshop

The overall objective of this workshop is to review the 2025 action plan for the implementation of the AfCFTA, take stock of it, and then plan the activities to be carried out in 2026.

Workshop objectives and challenges

The overall objective of this workshop is to review the 2025 action plan for the implementation of the AfCFTA, to take stock of its progress, and then to plan the activities to be carried out in 2026.
