On 6 May 2025, Agence Côte d’Ivoire Export and TradeMark Africa (TMA) signed a project charter relating to “support for trade facilitation activities”. The ceremony was held on the sidelines of the 6th National Monitoring Committee of the trade facilitation programme, organised at the Noom Hotel, in Abidjan-Plateau.
The Director General of the Agence Côte d’Ivoire Export, Dr Kaladji FADIGA, represented by Mr Jean GOSSE, Director of Partnerships and Resource Mobilisation, and Ms Anthe Vrijlandt, Regional Director West Africa of TradeMark Africa, formalised this cooperation between the two institutions.
With a total amount of 515 million FCFA, this project benefits from co-financing of 300 million FCFA from TradeMark Africa and a state counterpart of 215 million FCFA mobilised through the Côte d’Ivoire Export Agency.
This partnership aims to strengthen the competitiveness of Ivorian companies in exporting through an integrated system based around the digitalisation of the exportable offer, support for exporting companies, trade promotion, and the development of structural solutions.
Through this initiative, the Agence Côte d’Ivoire Export aims to increase the visibility of “Made in Côte d’Ivoire” products, facilitate companies’ access to regional and international markets, and contribute to the consolidation of a more efficient, inclusive, and resilient export ecosystem.
This initiative is part of the dynamic implementation of the AfCFTA and reflects the joint commitment of the Agence Côte d’Ivoire Export and TradeMark Africa to make exports a major lever for the structural transformation of the Ivorian economy.
