Thursday, 30 September 2026 – Agence Côte d’Ivoire Export and the Société Ivoirienne de Technologie Tropicale (I2T) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU). This initiative aims to enhance the competitiveness of Ivorian businesses, facilitate their access to domestic and international markets, and contribute to the promotion of Côte d’Ivoire’s export offer.

Complementary expertise in support of the Ivorian export offer.

Through this agreement, both institutions intend to combine their skills to support Ivorian industrial enterprises and contribute to the promotion of “Made in Côte d’Ivoire” products and services.

The identified areas of cooperation notably cover:

the acceleration and implementation of trade policies, programmes, platforms, and export mechanisms;

the provision of high-performance technologies and processes for the processing and preservation of agricultural products;

assistance with quality analysis of food products;

the design and implementation of their agricultural product processing and preservation projects.

A structured framework for implementation and monitoring.

The agreement provides for the establishment of a steering committee composed of representatives from both parties. This committee will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the implementation of activities, holding periodic meetings, and formulating recommendations to facilitate the execution of commitments.

This structure should enable both organisations to coordinate their interventions, assess the outcomes of actions taken, and identify necessary adjustments.

Concluded for a period of three years from the date of signature, the agreement establishes a cooperative framework designed to support Ivorian industrial enterprises, contribute to the development of agro-industry, and strengthen the profile of the national offer on international markets.
