The Ivory Coast Export Agency, represented by its General Director, Dr. Kaladji FADIGA, participated in an economic mission as part of the Ivory Coast-Brazil Business Forum held on February 3, 2025, at Novotel Plateau, Abidjan.
This forum began with a speech by Dr. Souleymane DIARRASSOUBA, Minister of Commerce and Industry, in the presence of His Excellency José Carlos de Araújo LEITÃO, Ambassador of Brazil to Ivory Coast, and His Excellency Alassane Diamouténé ZIE, Ambassador of Ivory Coast to Brazil.
Initiated by the Ministry of Foreign Relations of Brazil and led by the Brazilian Agency for the Promotion of Investments and Exports (Apex Brazil), this meeting brought together a delegation of Brazilian and Ivorian businessmen around a common goal: to strengthen economic and trade partnerships between our two countries.
Key sectors such as agri-food, heavy industry, manufacturing, automotive, textiles, health, and infrastructure were at the heart of the discussions, reflecting the attractiveness of Ivory Coast, which positions itself as an investment hub in West Africa.
One of the highlights of this forum was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ivory Coast Export Agency and ApexBrasil. Additionally, Dr. Kaladji FADIGA, General Director of the Ivory Coast Export Agency, led a panel on Ivory Coast-Brazil trade cooperation. This panel emphasized strategies to boost trade exchanges and support instruments for promoting exports and imports between the two countries.

Present were Mr. Touré FAMAN, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mrs. Solange AMICHIA, General Director of CEPICI, and Mrs. Ana REPEZZA, Commercial Director of ApexBrasil.
