SARA 2025

On Friday, May 2025, the Agence Côte d’Ivoire Export took part in the 7th edition of the International Exhibition of Agriculture and Animal Resources (SARA 2025), a key event for the agricultural, agri-food, and animal sectors in Côte d’Ivoire and West Africa. Organized every year to promote rural development, encourage innovation, and strengthen trade, this fair is a strategic platform for local and international players to meet, exchange ideas, and forge new partnerships.

The official opening of this edition was marked by the presence of several high-ranking officials, including Mr. Beugré MAMBE, Prime Minister, Head of Government, Minister of Sports and Living Environment, Mr. Kobenan KOUASSI ADJOUMANI, Minister of State, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Ms. Kandia CAMARA, President of the Senate, and Mr. Moussa SANOGO, Minister of Finance and Budget.

These dignitaries emphasized the Ivorian government’s commitment to modernizing the agricultural sector and diversifying the national economy. Their presence demonstrates the strategic importance that Côte d’Ivoire attaches to agriculture in strengthening food sovereignty, creating jobs, and promoting the export of agricultural products.

For the 2025 edition, China has been designated as the guest of honor.

This choice is part of efforts to strengthen Sino-African cooperation between Côte d’Ivoire and China.

A rich and diverse program to stimulate agricultural growth

SARA 2025 offers a multitude of activities designed to boost the agricultural sector and promote innovation. Throughout this period, participants will have the opportunity to attend conferences, workshops, and thematic panels on topics such as agricultural modernization, agri-food processing, sustainable resource management, and export opportunities.

B2B (business-to-business) meetings will also be organized to facilitate networking between local and international entrepreneurs, suppliers, distributors, and investors. In addition, the fair will feature exhibitions of agricultural machinery, equipment, processed products, and technological innovations.

As a key player in promoting Ivorian exports, the Agence Côte d’Ivoire Export has strengthened its presence at this year’s event by supporting several Ivorian SMEs with a dedicated stand. This strategic initiative has enabled companies such as Barelle Distribution, Ayes Essentiel, Mielleuse, Tangami, Attiéké des Lagunes, Essentielle d’Afrique,  Neemeries, and Frandiz to showcase their products and expertise to a diverse audience of both national and international partners.

This support initiative aims to enhance the visibility of Ivorian SMEs, stimulate their export development, and promote their participation in regional and global markets. The networking and contacts established during the fair are essential for opening up new business opportunities and encouraging the sustainable growth of Ivorian agricultural enterprises.

SARA 2025 is a major step forward for Côte d’Ivoire in its agricultural development and export strategy.

The active participation of the Côte d’Ivoire Export Agency illustrates its commitment to supporting the entrepreneurial ecosystem by providing platforms for exchange, promoting local expertise, and facilitating contact with international partners.
