From Monday, August 25, to Saturday, August 30, 2025, the Ivory Coast Export Agency will participate in an economic and trade mission in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
Organized as part of the implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), this mission aims to promote trade between African companies and strengthen their integration into a common market.
The concept of matchmaking is based on targeted meetings between economic operators to create concrete opportunities for partnerships. For Ivorian companies, this presents an opportunity to establish a presence on the Cameroonian market and promote Made in Côte d’Ivoire internationally.
During the first two days, the delegation was received by senior Cameroonian officials, including Mr. Luc Magloire MBARGA ATANGANA, Minister of Trade; Dr. Jacques Josué ANABA, representing Ms. Chantal ANDELY, Director General of the Standardization Agency; Mr. Yves TCHAMI, representing Mr. Fongod Edwin NUVAGA, Director General of Customs; and the representative of Mr. Shinwinsoh Boma Donatus, Director General of the Investment Promotion Agency.
The mission thus creates opportunities for partnerships in key sectors such as agri-food, coffee, and textiles. This is another step toward strengthening regional integration and positioning Made in Côte d’Ivoire on African markets.
