The result of a framework agreement between the two institutions, this program has been designed to strengthen the capacities of Ivorian companies, particularly SMEs, in the face of the challenges of international trade and the demands of foreign markets.

The first session, held in person on Thursday, May 15, 2025, brought together an audience of SMEs, first-time exporters, and key players in the Ivorian export ecosystem.

It was attended by Dr. Kaladji FADIGA, Director General of the Agence Côte d’Ivoire Export , Dr. David KOUASSI, representing the Minister of Trade and Industry, and Mr. Touré SANISSY, Vice-President of the CCI Côte d’Ivoire.

Two panels punctuated this day of discussions.

The first, devoted to financing solutions, highlighted the various opportunities available to exporting SMEs. Ms. Mariam Yénita BAMBA, Managing Director of Fin’elle, shared concrete strategies for mobilizing funds. Mr. Marc Florent MAGNAN, Head of the SME Business Hub at AFG Bank, presented financial services tailored to the needs of exporters. Mr. Yves MOH, representative of APBEF-CI, emphasized the fundamental role of banks in the development of international trade.

The second panel, focused on export guarantee mechanisms, highlighted the mechanisms available to secure transactions. Ms. Laetitia KOFFI, from the SME Credit Guarantee Company, detailed the guarantee instruments available, while Mr. Olivier AMANI, Head of Operations, explained how these tools facilitate access to finance and reduce risks for businesses.

At the end of this first Morning Session, participants expressed their satisfaction with the clarity of the discussions and the quality of the contributions. They left with a better understanding of the financing and security solutions available to support their international ambitions.

The next session will focus on optimizing supply chains, an essential lever for improving the competitiveness of Ivorian companies in the export market.
