On Thursday, June 12, the Economic Forum ‘Investing in Côte d’Ivoire’
opened as part of Ivorian Week at Expo 2025 Osaka.
Côte d’Ivoire is showcasing its economic potential through a series of highlights bringing together investors, institutions, and businesses.
The opening ceremony featured speeches by Dr. Souleymane DIARRASSOUBA, Minister of Trade and Industry, Carole Eva Ouedraogo-VERSTEEG, Deputy Director General of CEPICI Officiel, and Dr. Kaladji FADIGA, Commissioner General of the Ivorian section of the expo.
The program included cross-pitches by Ivorian and Japanese startups, the signing of cooperation agreements, and a strategic panel on the theme “Côte d’Ivoire, Land of Opportunities” with a focus on infrastructure, smart cities, green energy, and environmental technologies.
The day continued with B2B and B2G meetings, as well as a business lunch dedicated to networking.
