On Tuesday, September 9, 2025, the Agence Côte d’Ivoire Export  hosted its official side event, “Côte d’Ivoire Trade Opportunities,” in Algiers, organized on the sidelines of the Intra-African Trade Fair 2025, with over 150 participants.

On this occasion, Dr. Kaladji FADIGA, Director General of the Agence Côte d’Ivoire Export and Ambassador of the IATF 2025, presented Côte d’Ivoire as a diversified and dynamic economy, the leading power in the WAEMU with 40% of GDP and 42% of its exports. He also pointed out that the country is positioned as a strategic commercial hub, a natural bridge between West Africa and the world, driven by an ambitious and competitive entrepreneurial fabric.

During the event, Dr. Benjamin E. Walker, Director of Market Development at the Agence Côte d’Ivoire Export, presented the business opportunities offered by Côte d’Ivoire. The meeting concluded with a networking session rich in exchanges, paving the way for new partnership opportunities.

To quote Dr. Kaladji FADIGA, this event was an opportunity to discover the country’s riches, but also to identify and initiate partnerships today to contribute to the development of our respective economies and position “Made in Côte d’Ivoire” as a key element of intra-African trade.
