On Thursday, April 3, 2025, the Information Ceremony on Côte d’Ivoire’s participation in the 2025 Osaka World Expo was held in the auditorium of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including Mr. Kaladji FADIGA, Commissioner General of the Ivorian section of Expo Osaka 2025 and Director General of the Côte d’Ivoire Export Agency, Dr. Souleymane DIARRASSOUBA, Minister of Trade and Industry, HE Léon Kacou Houadja ADOM, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration and Ivorians Abroad, HE Junji GOMAKUBO, Ambassador of Japan to Côte d’Ivoire, and Ms. Françoise REMARCK, Minister of Culture and Francophonie.
It should be noted that World Expos are institutional, thematic events held every five (5) years. This edition, which will take place from April 13 to October 13, 2025, in Osaka, will bring together more than 28 million visitors and more than 200 countries and international organizations exhibiting under the theme: ” Designing the Society of the Future, Imagine Our Life Tomorrow.
With the theme “Connecting the Earth’s Intelligence with Industrial Creativity,” Côte d’Ivoire intends to participate in this major event to promote its potential and secure its position on the international stage.
