The Côte d’Ivoire Export Agency represented by its Director General Kaladji FADIGA received on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 a delegation of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) led by Mr Mohamed Maher MANNAI, Senior Specialist in Programme Management, at its headquarters located in the CGRAE Adjamé Fraternité Matin building.

This meeting is part of the preparation of the HOPE Finance (Harvesting Opportunities for Poverty Eradication) Programme.

HOPE Finance is a programme designed to contribute to poverty reduction through financial and non-financial support for actors in the rice and cassava value chains.

We recall that our country, Côte d’Ivoire, has been designated as the host country to lead the pilot phase of the program for an amount of $20 million.

Following discussions on the presentation of the Programme and its areas of intervention, both parties are expected to meet in February 2025 to continue formulating the Programme.

This working session was attended by Mr. Jean GOSSE, in charge of Partnerships and Resource Mobilization, Mr. Benjamin E. Walker Director of Market Development and Mr. Mobio Marc LOBA, Technical Advisor.
