On Friday, March 14, 2025, the fifth session of Export Fridays was held, a joint initiative of the Agence Côte d’Ivoire Export and Côte d’Ivoire PME, which brings together Ivorian companies both in person and online. The theme for this session was high-potential export markets for priority products selected by the Ivorian government.
Led by Mr. Benjamin E. WALKER, Director of Market Development at the Côte d’Ivoire Export Agency, this session focused on analyzing and identifying a target export market.
In his presentation, Mr. Walker outlined the various steps that led to the results presented today. These include the development of an export strategy plan, the creation of a market profile, and a critical review of the information and analysis gathered, which led to pragmatic strategic conclusions.
Following this scientific approach, several potential markets were identified for priority products such as cashews, cotton, cola, cassava, shea butter, and many others.
At the end of the meeting, the participating companies were able to benefit from solid information enabling them to move towards new markets with high potential for exporting their expertise.
The next event in this series of capacity-building activities for Ivorian export companies will certainly address an equally important topic. Stay tuned!
