Agence Côte d’Ivoire Export hosted the launch of the CDP Business Matching platform on Friday, 16 October 2026, in Abidjan, in the presence of the Minister of Trade, Industry and Handicrafts, Mr Kalil KONATÉ.
Under the leadership of its Director General, Dr Kaladji FADIGA, Agence Côte d’Ivoire Export brought together representatives from Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP) and SIMEST, Her Excellency the Ambassador of the Republic of Italy, Ivorian and Italian institutions, as well as business leaders, at the Postel 2001 Building Auditorium.
The CDP Business Matching platform offers an additional framework to identify partners, explore new market opportunities, and build mutually beneficial business relationships between Ivorian and Italian companies. It complements direct exchanges, which remain essential for building trust.
In his speech, Dr FADIGA recalled the Agency’s mission: to expand Ivorian exports and support the internationalisation of businesses. He presented the Agency as the prime point of contact for Italian operators, given its deep knowledge of the national exportable offer—ranging from cocoa and cashew nuts to tropical fruits and manufactured goods.
“The success of this initiative will not be measured solely by the number of matches made; it will be measured by our collective capacity to transform them into firm contracts and lasting partnerships,” he stated.
Addressing Ivorian enterprises, the Director General made a clear call to action: register on the platform, present a clear and competitive offering, and prepare for the quality, consistency, and compliance standards demanded by the European market. The Agency will support them in showcasing their products and preparing their exchanges with Italian partners, working in close collaboration with CDP.
