From Tuesday 7 to Thursday 9 July 2026, Côte d’Ivoire, through Agence Côte d’Ivoire Export, took part in the 6th Annual General Assembly of the ECOWAS Trade Promotion Organisations (TPO) Network, held in Dakar, Senegal.
This strategic meeting brought together the Chief Executives of Trade Promotion Organisations from ECOWAS member states, alongside representatives from the ECOWAS Commission and the International Trade Centre (ITC), to assess progress made in implementing the 2025–2026 work programme, elect the Network’s new Board, and define strategic priorities for the 2026–2027 period.
Led by its Chief Executive, Dr Kaladji FADIGA, Agence Côte d’Ivoire Export delegation actively participated in sessions dedicated to strengthening cooperation between Trade Promotion Organisations, developing exports, accelerating intra-regional trade, and advancing economic integration in West Africa, in line with the ECOWAS Vision 2050: “An ECOWAS of peoples: peace and prosperity for all”.
Discussions also focused on developing new institutional partnerships, strengthening information-sharing mechanisms between national trade promotion agencies, and utilizing digital tools and commercial platforms to enhance business competitiveness and facilitate access to regional and international markets.
By participating in this General Assembly, Agence Côte d’Ivoire Export reaffirms its commitment to promoting Côte d’Ivoire’s potential, developing strategic partnerships within the community space, and supporting Ivorian businesses in their expansion across regional, continental, and international markets.
